How do I know if my pickleball paddle is legal for tournaments?
Sanctioned USA Pickleball and Pickleball Canada events require a paddle on the USA Pickleball Approved Paddle List. Search for your paddle above, then confirm on the official list before you play.
What is the USA Pickleball spin test?
From October 1, 2026, USA Pickleball certifies paddles with a direct spin rate test capped at 2,100 RPM instead of a surface roughness test. Paddles certified before that date keep their approval.
My paddle isn't in the results. Is it illegal?
Not necessarily. The name on the list may differ from the name on your paddle, or the paddle may be listed under a different brand name. Check the official list, which you can search by brand and model.
