Free daily MLP draft game

The Franchise Draft

Spin a franchise. Raid its history. Go eleven and oh.

How it works

  1. Spin. Each spin lands on one of the 25 MLP franchises and shows every player who has worn its colours, one card per season they played, from 2023 to 2026.
  2. Draft. Pick one card per spin until you have two men and two women. You can take a player from any season, but only once. Two new-franchise re-spins per game.
  3. Play. Eleven matches of rising difficulty against real MLP team-seasons (86 to choose from), ending with a season's All-Stars. Each match is women's doubles, men's doubles and two mixed games, with a singles tiebreak at 2–2.
  4. Come back. The daily draft gives everyone the same spins, so you can compare results. Free play is unlimited.

The number beside each player is the PickleFitter Rating, which we calculate from 26,868 pro matches played since 2023. It is our own rating, not an official tour ranking or DUPR. Team and league names are used to identify rosters; PickleFitter is not affiliated with Major League Pickleball.

Questions

What is the Franchise Draft?

A free pickleball draft game from PickleFitter built on Major League Pickleball rosters. You spin a franchise, draft four real pros from the seasons they played for it (two men and two women), and send them through an eleven-match season against real MLP rosters. The goal is to win all eleven.

How is it different from the 11-0 Challenge?

The 11-0 Challenge spins a paddle brand and a season. The Franchise Draft spins an MLP franchise and lets you pick any season of any player who was on its roster, so you choose the year as well as the name. Your opponents are real team-seasons rather than brand teams.

Which teams and players are in the game?

25 franchises from the 2023 to 2026 MLP seasons, with 209 players and 470 player-seasons. Rosters are kept by hand from draft results and trade announcements; a player who was on a roster but did not play rated matches that season has no card.

How does the daily draft work?

Everyone who plays on the same day gets the same spins, so you can compare records with friends. A new draft starts at midnight your time, and playing on consecutive days builds a streak. Free play uses random spins and has no limit.

How are matches decided?

Each game is simulated from your players' PickleFitter Ratings for the season you drafted, set against the best lineup the other roster could field that year. The stronger side usually wins, but upsets happen, which is why a perfect season is hard.
