Most Powerful Pickleball Paddles

This list is sorted by measured drive speed alone. In our data, drive speed rises a little with swing weight and with Gen 3 and Gen 4 construction, and the paddles at the top reward a fast, full swing. If you want power weighed against control and stability for your game, use the best paddles for power guide or the quiz.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is paddle power measured?

The power figure is the ball speed in mph produced on a standardised drive in lab testing. Higher means the paddle returns more energy to the ball with the same swing.

Do powerful paddles have less control?

Often. The same stiffness and swing weight that add speed also shorten dwell time and make the paddle slower to move at the kitchen. Our pop and control guides show the other side of that trade-off.

Not sure which one is right for you?

Our quiz matches you to the best paddle based on your play style, skill level, and preferences across all 812 paddles.
