Lowest Swing Weight Pickleball Paddles

Swing weight is how heavy a paddle feels in motion, and it matters more than the number on the scale. A low swing weight means quicker hands at the kitchen and less strain on the arm, at the cost of some plow-through on drives. This list is sorted from the lowest measured swing weight up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a low swing weight for a pickleball paddle?

Measured swing weights in our database run from about 89 to 137. Anything under about 105 feels noticeably quick in hand; most paddles sit between 110 and 120.

Can I lower a paddle's swing weight?

Not really. Lead tape only adds weight. If a paddle feels sluggish, the fix is a different paddle, or choking up on the handle to bring your hand closer to the face.
